License Activation: Unlock the Full Potential

Thank you for purchasing the Pro version of Ultimate Spin Wheel. The free plugin is already powerful, but your Pro license unlocks the advanced layer: email-marketing automation (Mailchimp, MailPoet, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Zapier, Pabbly), WooCommerce dynamic and auto-generated coupons, campaign scheduling, premium themes, and more.

Ultimate Spin Wheel Pro is a separate plugin (ultimate-spin-wheel-pro) that runs alongside the free plugin. Activating your license verifies your purchase, connects your site to the WowDevs update server, and switches on the Pro features. This guide walks you through finding your key and activating it.

Before You Start: Install the Pro Plugin

License activation happens inside the Pro plugin, so make sure it is installed and activated first. Upload and activate ultimate-spin-wheel-pro.zip, keeping the free Ultimate Spin Wheel plugin active too. If you have not done this yet, follow the Installation Guide first.

1. Where to Find Your License Key

Activation uses two pieces of information: your license key and the email address you purchased with. Both must match the order, so keep them together.

Option A: Your Purchase Receipt Email

Immediately after checkout you received an order confirmation email containing your license key. Search your inbox (and spam folder) for the WowDevs receipt and copy the key. The purchase email itself is the address you will enter during activation.

Option B: Your WowDevs Account

1. Log in to your account at wowdevs.com/my-account.
2. Open your Licenses / orders area and locate your Ultimate Spin Wheel purchase.
3. Copy the license key to your clipboard, and note the account email tied to the purchase.

2. How to Activate the License

With the Pro plugin active, a dedicated License screen appears under the Spin Wheel menu (while your license is inactive it shows as a Get PRO link that opens the same screen).

1. Go to Spin Wheel > License in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Paste your key into the License Key field.
3. Enter the email address you purchased with in the License Email field.
4. Click Activate. The plugin automatically strips any stray spaces from both fields before checking the key with the WowDevs license server.
5. On success the status switches to active and shows your expiry (or Lifetime for perpetual licenses). Pro features — such as the Mailchimp integration — are now unlocked.

3. Activation Troubleshooting

“License Key is not valid”

• The key and the email must both belong to the same order. Double-check you entered the exact address the license was purchased with.
• Confirm you are using an Ultimate Spin Wheel key and not a key for a different WowDevs product.
• The plugin removes spaces for you, but a mistyped or truncated key will still fail — re-copy it straight from your receipt or account.

“Connection Failed” or a cURL error

Your host may be blocking outgoing requests to the licensing server. Ask your hosting support to allow outgoing connections to licenses.wowdevs.com, which is where the plugin verifies keys and checks for updates.

“No Activations Left”

You have reached the site limit for your plan (for example, a single-site license already used on another install). Either upgrade to a plan with more sites, or deactivate the license on the old site first (see below).

4. Moving a License to a New Site

Built your site on a staging URL (dev.mysite.com) and now want to go live at mysite.com? Free up the activation slot before reusing the key.

1. On the old site, open Spin Wheel > License.
2. Click Deactivate. The plugin clears the stored key and releases the slot on the WowDevs server.
3. Activate the same key on the new site using the steps in section 2.

If you deleted the old site without deactivating, sign in to your WowDevs account and remove that site from your license so the slot is freed.

5. Renewals and Expiry

• Active license: While your subscription is active you receive automatic updates and support. The License screen shows the days remaining, or Lifetime if you hold a perpetual license.
• Expiring soon: Within 30 days of expiry the dashboard reminds you to renew and surfaces a renewal link.
• After expiry: Renew to keep receiving updates, new features, and priority support. Keep auto-renew enabled so your campaigns stay current with WordPress and WooCommerce updates.
