Sometimes you need to ban a specific bad actor from your entire system. Using the Global Security settings, you can create a “Blacklist” that applies to all your campaigns at once.
📍 Where to find it
- Go to Spin Wheel > Settings.
- Click the Security tab.
🚫 Managing Blocked IPs
Here you will see a list of every IP address currently banned.
Automatic Bans
When you click the “Block” (Shield) icon in the Leads Dashboard, that user’s IP is automatically added to this list.
Manual Bans
Know a specific IP you want to stop? (e.g., a competitor’s office).
- Scroll to the “Manually Block IP” section.
- Type the IP address (e.g.,
192.168.1.1). - Click Add.
- Result: Any device connecting from that network will never see the wheel.
📱 Blocked Devices
This list tracks unique “Device Fingerprints.”
- What is it? A code generated from the user’s browser version, screen resolution, and hardware.
- Why use it? IPs change (e.g., restarting a router). Hardware doesn’t. This stops persistent cheaters.
🏁 Summary
Blocking is a nuclear option. Use it for spammers and abusive users. Regular customers who just want a second coupon should be handled gently (via “Limit spins per user” settings), not banned globally.
