🛡️ The 3 Layers of Defense
1. Cookie & Local Storage (The Basics)
- What it does: When someone spins, we place a “cookie” in their browser.
- Effect: If they refresh the page, the wheel remembers they already played and won’t let them spin again (unless you configured it to allow retries).
- Weakness: A tech-savvy user can clear their cache (Incognito mode).
2. Identity Verification (Stronger)
- What it does: Tracks the specific Email or Phone Number used.
- Effect: Even if they change browsers or devices, if they type
[email protected]again, the system says “You have already played with this email.” - Configuration: Enable “Limit spins per user” in the Form Settings.
3. IP & Device Fingerprinting (The Vault)
- What it does: Tracks the user’s internet connection (IP) and unique hardware signature (Device ID).
- Effect: Even if they use a fake email (
[email protected],[email protected]), the system recognizes it’s the same computer and blocks the spin. - Pro Feature: This is the strongest protection available.
⚙️ Setting Limits
Go to Campaign > Form Settings to configure:
- Max Spins per User: (e.g., 1).
- Retry Logic: Allow them to spin again if they lost? (Optional).

Security is a balance. You want to be strict enough to stop cheaters, but not so strict that a husband and wife can’t both play from the same home WiFi. Our intelligence system tries to find that perfect balance automatically.
